The church of Jesus Christ is made up of the "called out one" the people who have responded to the life saving message of the gospel.  People make the church, the people are the church, and the church is in the people business.   Since the beginning of the church ( that Jesus Himself established) churches have met in homes, caves, temples, tens, and buildings of all sorts. 

   First Assembly of God meets at 923 E. Booker Dairy Road in Smithfield, North Carolina - but the building cannot contain the Body of Christ.  This local church body encompasses six communities throughout Johnston County.  People from different locations, ethnicities, economic status and background worship every Sunday at our location.  We welcome people; people who have it all together and people who don't.  Come join us as we journey together in this great discovery of God as the "Called Out Ones," the church!
